The New Syllabus for Executive Programme comprises of Seven papers. The new syllabus has been in effect since 2013 for CS Executive Programme. The detailed contents for each of the seven papers of the Executive Programme as approved by the Council are as under:
- Company Law
- Cost and Management Accounting
- Economic and Commercial Laws
- Tax Laws and Practice
- Company Accounts and Auditing Practices
- Capital Markets and Securities Laws
- Industrial, Labour and General Laws
Candidates registered as students up to and including May in a year are eligible for appearing in any one Module only of the Executive examination held in December of that year and those registered up to and including the month of November in a year are eligible for appearing in any one Module only in the June examination of next year subject to completion of coaching, computer training & other requirements (as per the guidelines of the Institute) in the Module they intend to appear.
To enable non-commerce students who are eligible for direct admission to the executive level programme, to get a fundamental understanding on commerce subjects the ICSI has made it compulsory for such students to take up a course of postal or oral tuition in those subjects of the Foundation examination which he/she had not studied at the graduate or post-graduate level before becoming eligible to pursue the executive level programme/course.
Students registering for the compulsory bridge course, need not attend the examination in these subjects but has to compulsorily undergo either oral or postal tuition in them.
Registration entitles the student to a set of study material in the relevant subjects which they have to study to get themselves acquainted with the course. Students are advised to study the subjects and answer and submit the test papers provided with them in their own interest.
